Sedona, in partnership with a local Dubuque County manufacturer, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join the hiring company’s team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the growth and expansion of the hiring company’s business by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and fostering strong relationships with healthcare distributors / suppliers, government agencies and healthcare institutions. This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for their benefits package.
 
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective lead generation strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and purchasing managers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Works with Production to obtain confirmation dates and shipment schedule 
  • Markets products and maintains company image through advertising, trade shows, brochures, website, social media, etc.
  • Track sales metrics, analyze performance data, and generate reports to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
 
 
What we’d like you to bring to the table:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively articulate technical information.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify market opportunities.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for driving results and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Travel: 10-15%
